So much heart goes into each and every cookie, which is where the name of my business comes from. I spent 2 years contemplating a good business name, and God finally revealed it to me the summer of 2020. I was sharing a picture of my recent cookies with a friend, and she replied, "You can tell those are really works of heart." I responded, "Yes-'hartwork!' Artwork from the heart!" I instantly knew that was the name I had been searching for.
It is such a blessing to be able to have the opportunity to create these cookies for customers. I put in and get back so much joy with every set I make, and I look forward to creating cookies that will add to both the decor and memory of your special occasions. These confections are truly so much more than just cookies. They are edible works of art that don't just look good but taste amazing too!

CLASSIC TIER
Starting at $75/dozen
1-3 simple designs with understated details
DETAILED TIER
Starting at $90/dozen
Typically 4-7 designs with variety of custom details (florals, metallics, lettering, etc.)
ELABORATE TIER
Starting at $110/dozen
8+ designs with a variety of multi-step designs, details, textures, florals, metallics, lettering. This tier may include painting and use of royal icing transfers.

*Please note: Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering so as to reserve a place on my calendar. If you need to cancel, please do so a minimum of three weeks prior to the date of your event in order to receive a refund.

GLUTEN FREE OPTION (+$9.99 per dozen):
Please note, cookies are made in a kitchen that is NOT gluten free. Tools are cleaned thoroughly in between uses, but there is a possibility for cross contamination. Gluten free options are best for those who only prefer gluten free. If you require gluten free products for medical reasons, please see a bakery that specializes in gluten free baked goods.
RUSH ORDERS: In the event that I am able to take a last minute order (less than 1 week before pick up date), there will be a 25% rush fee for your order.

All cookies are vanilla flavored sugar cookies w/ vanilla almond flavored royal icing. Cookies are made in a licensed residential kitchen, which processes common food allergens, including tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, shell fish, fish and soy.

THE FACE BEHIND HARTWORK COOKIE CO.
My name is Jessica, and I decorated my first cookie at Christmas time in 2017 and launched Hartwork Cookie Co. in summer of 2020.
Hartwork originally started as a side business while I was working full time as a school guidance counselor. After 7 years in the field of education, God made it clear in July of 2023 that it was time to take a leap of faith and make Hartwork full time!
Your support over the years has been such a blessing, and Hartwork has grown into so much more than just a custom cookie business. In July of 2025, a new line of cookie cutters was launched, and it has been such a joy to see cookiers all over the world using these designs in their own homes and businesses. One thing I have learned in the last 2 years of running Hartwork full time is that change is inevitable. I never thought this business would be where it is today, and I can't wait to see how we continue to grow and expand!
A little bit about me on a personal level- when I'm not knee deep in cookie dough & royal icing, I enjoy reading, church, exercising and spending time with friends and family; but give me some cookies, a piping bag and a great podcast, and I will be content for days at a time!
My faith in Jesus Christ is the most important thing about me. I don't consider this to be my own personal business, but His. And I am so very thankful to have been given the opportunity to steward Hartwork with the hope that through it, I can be a blessing to others and bring joy to many.
