Join us as we decorate a set of 6 Mother's Day themed cookies at Open Door Tea in Stratford, CT on 5/10 from 4-7PM!

In this class, we will go step-by-step through the process of learning how to decorate a set of cookies using royal icing. At the end of the course, you will walk away with all the cookies you decorated and a cutout cookie recipe to try at home.

 

Techniques taught in class will include:

 

how to cut and use tipless piping bags.

how to use different icing consistencies.

how to outline cookies using "outline consistency" icing.

how to flood cookies using "flood consistency" icing.

how to use "wet-on-wet" techniques.

pressure piping. 

how to flood separate sections to create dimensional details.
