Join us as we decorate a set of 6 Fall inspired cookie designs at Open Door Tea in Stratford, CT on 11/16 from 3:30-6:30!

In this class, we will go step-by-step through the process of learning how to decorate a set of cookies using royal icing. At the end of the course, you will walk away with all the cookies you decorated  and a cutout cookie recipe to try at home. 

 

Techniques taught in class will include:

  • how to cut and use tipless piping bags.
  • how to use different icing consistencies.
  • how to outline cookies using "outline consistency" icing.
  • how to flood cookies using "flood consistency" icing.
  • how to use "wet-on-wet" techniques.
  • how to apply royal icing transfers.
  • pressure piping. 
  • how to flood separate sections to create dimensional details. 
  • and much more!
